SnoreStop Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information SnoreStop processes, how that information is used, and the choices available to you when you use the app.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use SnoreStop, we may process account and sign-in data such as your user ID, email address, and authentication provider; onboarding and profile details such as your measurement system, sex or gender selection, age, height, weight, reported snoring frequency, and reported symptoms; sleep-session metadata such as session dates, timestamps, duration, score, event counts, and generated insights; and subscription or entitlement status needed to manage premium access.

Audio and sleep-session data

When you start a sleep session, the app records audio segments and derives related sound events, timestamps, amplitudes, and summaries from those recordings. Portions of that information may be stored locally on your device and, when syncing or cloud analysis is used, uploaded to SnoreStop backend storage and processing services so reports, insights, and history can be generated.

How we use information

We use personal information and sleep-session data to authenticate your account, save your profile, run session analysis, generate reports and trends, sync history, determine premium access, maintain app security and reliability, and troubleshoot support issues. SnoreStop is not designed to sell personal information or use recorded sleep-session data for unrelated advertising.

Service providers and sharing

SnoreStop uses third-party service providers to operate the app. These providers include Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server-side processing; RevenueCat and the applicable app store provider for subscriptions and entitlements; and Apple or Google when you choose those sign-in methods. Information is shared with these providers only as needed for the services they perform on our behalf or to complete a transaction you request.

Storage and retention

Local session files may remain on your device until they are removed by future app behavior, cleared through a product deletion flow, or removed when the app is deleted from the device. Synced account, profile, subscription, and sleep-session data may remain in cloud systems for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. Subscription and payment records may also be retained by the app store or billing provider under their own policies.

Your choices and rights

You can choose whether to grant microphone access and whether to purchase premium features. You can update your sleep profile in Settings. Depending on your region, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Those requests should be handled through the support contact or support channel published for SnoreStop.

Children and policy updates

SnoreStop is not intended for children under 13, and it should not be used by children where local law requires a higher minimum age without appropriate consent. We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, data flows, or legal requirements change. The version shown in the app should always be reviewed together with the live store disclosures and support contact details before release.
